Gorgo Remake

I wonder . . .

Is some british movie studio interested in doing a modern version of Gorgo?

reply

With today's CGI I would live to see a remake.

reply

I would fear they would try to make it more smarty and professional, by placing some themes like nature and such; but lose some of the show from it.

They need to leave it alone. I loved this thing when i was a kid. Gorgo's red glowing eyes always freaked me out.

I fully agree with bornsceptic. Gorgo should NOT, I repeat, NOT be remade. Remember what happened with the last two Godzilla remakes? 'Nuff said.

Fasten your seatbelts, it's going to be a bumpy night.

Hello, rgon-1! As further proof that there should be no remake of Gorgo, two words: Ben Hur. 'Nuff said.

Happy Labor Day, Everyone!!!!!

reply

Well, Deity forbid, a remake does get made, I have the perfect title for it: Gorgo vs. Donald Trump's toupee.

Okay, I agree that the 1998 TriStar 'Godzilla' was a botched abortion by a drunken horse doctor, but I LIKED the 2014 American version. My only major criticism was that all the monster fighting seemed to happen at NIGHT, which pretty much took the punch out of it. How much can I enjoy what I can barely SEE? As far as monster movies go, I mean...

Yes, there are events in this miserable vale of tears that are QUITE enjoyable, even though (or possibly because) you can't really see what's happening.
