Hair?
I love Ingrid Bergman's hair in this movie! Does anyone know what that kind of updo is called?
LEND AN EAR, I implore you, this comes from my heart: I'll always adore you, til death do us part.

Its called boring and matronly.
shareReally? And you're called an ignorant boor.

It's called a French Twist. See also the beautiful Tippi Hedren in "The Birds."
shareYou tell him, IreneEDevine!
"Who put the pineapple juice in my pineapple juice?"
I just saw this movie today and yes, it was a lovely hair-do, but I find myself agreeing a little bit with rzimmerman2. I thought it made her look older, and she *always* wore it that way. While watching, I was thinking that she should let it down every now and then, cut loose and start dating the younger man.
I think the hair style was a way of showing us that she was stuck in the same rut over and over.
