The DVD of THE EXILES is now expected in the summer of 2009. The film is still enjoying a successful theatrical run, which has pushed back the date for the DVD release.
shareThe latest word is that the DVD of THE EXILES is planned for a late Fall 2009 release (October/November), and will have a plethora of related and historical supplemental features. The features will center on the film's director, the Bunker Hill neighborhood where the film takes place, the plight of the neighborhood's native American population, and the Angels Flight funicular railway.

shareAccording to the latest issue of the trade magazine Home Media Retailing,the film will be released on DVD in the US "later this year" (2009). Milestone Films has contracted with a New York film library to release Milestone's films over the next three years. According to the brief article, THE EXILES will be the first joint release.
