Very good

This being just over 3 hours long, there is not a minute wasted. It keeps you interested the whole time. I knew nothing of this historical saga, and the events portrayed here were executed extremely well.

The acting was good. Charlton and Sophia worked well together. The scale of the production was gigantic. The organisation of all the extras in certain scenes, especially battle scenes was done extremely well. Cannot imagine the hours it took to create all those costumes. Where did they get all those horses, and to keep them fed and healthy for the hours of shooting ?

Truly a great effort. Rodrigo Diaz de Vivar certainly lived an incredible life, and it was a story worthy of telling.

Definitely highly recommended watch.
