Weird thing I noticed in the opening credits...

Watch the opening credits to the "Curse of the Werewolf" on VHS video. On the frame that begins with the credit of: "Director of Photography...Arthur Grant", it appears that one of the credits has been covered up with a oblong shaped blob of ink. I wonder how and why this happened? Was somebody's name obscured due to legal reasons? I am curious to know if this mysterious blob of ink is also visible on the DVD version.

Sincerely, S.B.

The name which was covered was the 'Technicolor' credit. As there were no 35mm release prints made by Technicolor in the US in 1961, I assume Universal covered it for that reason, although the new US dvd shows it.
