A nifty little thriller
I enjoyed it and Peter Cushing was great as always! Anyone else care to share their opinions?

shareI agree. I thought this film was very well done. Cushing was superb in his role. Andre Morell was likewise terrific as urbane and wily criminal Hepburn. What I especially liked about this film was that it was essentially a clever thriller version of "A Christmas Carol," with Cushing's initially unsympathetic character receiving a much-needed albeit harrowing lesson in humility and thus regaining his humanity in the process.
"We're all part Shatner/And part James Dean/Part Warren Oates/And Steven McQueen"
Oh yes, I should have mentioned Andre Morell's terrific performance! I also liked how the story reminded me of "A Christmas Carol." - Good point, Woody!
shareIt's funny, that before I watched this movie, I thought that Cushing would be the bad guy and Morell the good bank manager. I was so wrong and glad, because both actors were great and this is one very engrossing thriller, ideal for any cosy afternoon viewing.
