Solid, old school Disney entertainment

The Absent Minded Professor is one of the most enjoyable old school Disney films that I've ever seen. It was followed by Son of Flubber and remade as 1998's Flubber. I wish I could hop around in Flubber laced shoes or drive a flying, Flubber powered Model T. The late Fred MacMurray was the man!
I love that gag where a cop car keeps getting stuck and a police officer keeps spilling hot coffee on himself!

At grade school in Merced County(in the USA), we were "rewarded" on some days with Disney films like The Apple Dumpling Gang, Escape to Witch Mountain, The Love Bug, etc. We grew up with Disney flicks...

Nowadays, Disney has changed with the times. TV shows like The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, That's So Raven, Hannah Montana and movies like The Princess Diaries appeal to a new generation.

I'm not sure the new TV shows actually "appeal" as much as you might think. We watch Cartoon Network a lot more than Disney (though Kim Possible is a great show).

"Hello, Melchett. Still worshipping God? Last I heard, he'd started worshipping ME!"

And you know, for 1961 the Special Effects are pretty good.
