Crazy Triangle of Wilbur and Carol and Mr. Ed

This is a big problem for Wilbur and Carol and Mr. Ed. Yes spouses or wives get jealous of other women but she gets jealous of Wilbur's time and love and attention and pampering to Mr. Ed for this reason.

Here is one example I remember. Once when Wilburs architects office got transferred from Mr. Eds stable to downtown he would say to his wife. Its gonna be hard for me to get away from someone I love so close to my heart. Carol would go"Oh Wilbur do you mean that I am sure I can handle it but I hope you can" Then he says yes its hard being far away from Mr. Ed". Then she storms angrily out to Wilbur and yells I hope your architects office is a million towns away now!!!!

Lets make this point first before I continue. Wilbur does love his wife Carol very much. But he loves his horse too. Carol could along with Wilbur love Mr. Ed too but if only she knew that Mr. Ed talked and acted like a human mortal. That way both of them could love him.

But there is a problem when Wilbur spends ten times more of his free time with Mr. Ed and pampers him alot more than a wife.

Yes a wife or spouse doesn't get jealous of a son or daughter because their child they both love together and if Wilbur and Carol had mortal kids then like any parents they would love them together and yes Carol wouldn't be jealous of Wilbur spending time with a son. But he treats that horse like a son to him.

Yes in the first episode he tried convincing his wife that Mr. Ed talked and he brought her to him he refused to do it and he tried a tape recorded too but that didn't work.

Here is what could have worked. At the barn or stable Wilbur could have asked Carol to hide behind a door while Ed wasn't around then he would take Ed into the barn and both of them would talk then Carol would come out and say you are right Wilbur Ed can talk then they both could love Ed together and Carol wouldn't get upset about Wilburs time with him. Then they could both love Ed together.
