Sure its corny and contrived

But I love this show! Watching this show takes me back to when I was a little kid and didn't have a care in the world. Sure its not fine art - but its a fun and funny show and a darn cute one at that. Mr. Ed was a nice looking palomino and I sure got a kick out his antics and how he made Wilbur look like a crazy fool. Thank you "This" network for running this show again! Sure beats any of the new crap on TV that tries to pass as entertainment.

I never thought it was corny. Actually, it was a pretty novel idea, and the effects they used for earlier days of TV were pretty nifty. It doesn't have a lot of crude humor or sex jokes, so maybe that is "corny" to some. I love it too.
