I've seen a lot of the old B&W episodes but not all of this one: it starts with Steed visiting a riding stable filled with beautiful girls in riding gear. One super pretty girl with a riding hat (helmet), jodhpurs and a white turtleneck has Steed (alone) help her put on her tall riding boots while they have a long conversation. This is all I remember, so it's probably 1963, 1964 or 1965, pre color definitely, don't know if it's Emma Peel or earlier Honor Blackman and don't know if the episode was about a riding club.

Does this ring a bell with any aficionados? Thanks!

Hmmm , to me it sounds like a fusion between different episodes . The one where Steed has a long conversation with a super pretty girl while taking off her boots is "The Murder Market" with Rigg . The girl in question would be Suzanne Lloyd ( Raquel Toledano in "Zorro" ) . Sure your description fits her . But the episode doesn't start with Steed visiting the stable , that sounds like the begining of "The Trojan Horse" with Honor Blackman . Even if in the opening act of" Six Hands Across a Table" ( with Honor ) we have some female riders coming back from a hunt ( Cathy herself is by far the prettiest anyway ) .
