The Complete Avengers 50th Anniversary Edition

For you Avengers fans who are "completists," Amazon UK has THE COMPLETE AVENGERS 50TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION, which includes all the existing Avengers episodes from Season (Series) 1 - 8.

For a couple years, I've owned "The Emma Peel Megaset," as EP was my favorite of all Steed's partners. Then, I realized I wanted to have the complete series since "The Avengers" is one of my favorite series. The DVDs are remastered (not blu ray); and so far, the video quality is good for a series that is more than 50 years old. The sound on a couple of the early episodes is sometimes hard to hear, and only the first 15 minutes of Series 1, Episode 1 was able to be rescued from UCLA of all places.

I am watching them in order and have watched the first disc, which is a very brief Season (Series) 1 with Ian Hendry as Steed's partner.

It is necessary to have a multi-region DVD player as the set, released in England, is Region 2.
