Saw en episode that must have been one of the earliest.
I was aware that by the time it started airing on US tv the show had changed from its origins, but I thought that must meant Honor Blackman leaving and Diana Rigg taking over as Steed's female companion. Recently, however, CoziTV, to honor Steed's passing, showed an episode from what must have been the first season. There was no female lead: Steed had a male companion who seemed to handle the ladies' man stuff while Steed handled the physical stuff. The episode was also in black and white, and had a claustrophobic, studio feel.
