A great variation on High Noon, Tara shows some real steel, love the characterisation of the various patients and of the 2 hitmen, one Ray Brooks of Mr Benn fame, Steed killing the villain with a very James Bond gadget.

I really liked this Tara episode as well. Very clever idea of making a western in England of all places! The send up of High Noon is done well and the atmosphere and location work are great. This episode was filmed on Brian Clemens own property where he lived and wrote his scripts! The climactic build up really is effective as they enemy descends upon the farm by helicopter and Tara and the other recovering agents all batten down for battle. Unfortunately, the 70's is showing its influence in regards to the fashions. Steed's cream suit is super dated and feels a little out of character. He should have still been in Steed suit or bowler for comic effect. Where even wheel chair bound and out of service he still keeps up his traditional look. Also Tara's maroon pants and vest with floral print shirt is a little unattractive. The pants seem to emphasize her hips in an unflattering way, and I don't mean that against Thorson, as she is very attractive. She just doesn't seem styled well. But again it comes down to the changing times and approaching 70s. Tara does however show her strength here, with great stunts and fight scenes. She is also very assertive here and protective of Steed which is nice.

Also love Mother at Steed's place, especially going through his drink cabinet. And we find Steed has expenses?

reply

Yes, that was very humorous. Love Mother's interactions with Rhonda who just obeys and gives looks. What were those drinks!? Lol they were very odd bright colors!
