I liked it
Aside from some cinematic shortcuts, it was a generally faithful retelling of the first 2/3 of the novel. Nancy Kwan is gorgeous and the embodiment of Suzie Wong. The story is tastefully told (early 60’s after all). This was an important role, as Asian female lead roles were very rare in Hollywood up to that time.
