I just remember an episode of the simpsons where the kids of springfield watched some movie where kids in a medieval village made people crap in their pants and kill each other. which then inspired lisa to play tricks on the adults of springfield.
I read some info about this movie and realised the connection so i was just checking to see if i was right. I always wondered where they got that idea from. :)

yeah, your right, the simpsons spoofed it in an episode where the kids get hold of a radio or something and start terrorising the adults...pretty funny. They called it 'the bloodening' in the simpsons, and was a direct reference to this movie....pretty hilarious how they do the kids voices too.

That episode was "Wild Barts Can't Be Broken" from Season 10.
