Excellent horror film - Perhaps one of the genre's finest ever entries.
Very economical and unnerving film this. The opening 20 minutes are subtly effective in establishing a chilly atmosphere in a relatively undistinguished, once sleepy little uneventful town. It holds up very well, and the B&W cinematography is as effective as ever here. Sanders makes for a stoic protagonist too.
