Risque Dialogue

There's a lot of risque dialouge in Tormented(1960). Tom tells Sandy that she's the other woman in his life! The guy at the diner tells Sandy that they have plenty of pickles! Sandy tells her sister that she's getting a wedding, a dress, a cake, and she[Sandy] gets nothing!

How about when the boat jockey voluptuously describes Vi as "The girl with the______" (He never gets to finish the sentence but we know what pair of upper body parts he means!)

The girl with the colossal tits.
It would make a good Danish detective story.

I thought there was more under-age innuendo visually and verbally in the film. One example could be taken as being innocent but there is a fair sprinkling of it during 'Tormented.' I like the film but it is definitely naughty.

I think calling this "risque" is ridiculous.

Oh, did I type "dic"?

There was no serious amount of innuendo in this movie.

^ Agreed. ^
OP is seeing something "dirty" in what I thought was innocent precociousness.
Tom even pokes her on the nose, making him appear more like a sympathetic character, a Family Man.
He's nearly made out to be a victim in the situation.
While I don't think he was a Killer, he certainly wasn't an innocent bystander either.

Seeing "risque dialogue" in pickles on a burger is juvenile at best.
Now, if it was a Hot Dog, well, that'd be different. Filthy, dirty porn!

I prefer the toad less raveled
