But he was just awesome here, so were Ustinov and Laughton. This is a movie where the supporting actors blow the leads off the fucking screen, Olivier showing the way.
Yes plenty of his early 30's work, 49th Parallel springs to mind, but he was great in this, I'd of loved to has seen him take on the role of Julius Caesar in Cleopatra opposite Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton just a few years later.
