Issue regarding the ending.

So Crassus takes in Varinia as his "slave", only to have Gracchus send Batiatus to kidnap her. But we never get to see what Crassus does about this. I'm sure he was totally bent out of shape, but it would've been cool to see what attempt at retaliation he would've had since it seemed he cared for her.

Missed opportunity for some closure, IMO.

Since Gracchus gave her papers that freed her and the baby, then killed himself, and Batiatus took her... probably only to secret her out of the country... Crassus would probably wake to find her gone, figure she ran away, and since Spartacus is dead do a cursory search then get on with his life.
