It's funny! I was thinking of the gang from that board all through that episode. I have no doubt that many of them were missing their old IMDb days. The board would be buzzing!

I just noticed from your gif that Mother's skull has two black holes in the back of the head that coincide with where the pupils would be in her eyes, so it looks like she's staring at us through her empty eye sockets.

Its interesting to realize that, for some 1960 audience members, that skull-face may well have been the most frightening thin in Psycho. Its a nicely macabre thing to look at today...but honestly...it must have been killer back then.

For this is not just a skull -- a polished white skull with no sense of the human being it once belonged to. It is a skull with skin on it...dried up and stuck to the bone.

And of course with the light, the Mother stares and with the music, the mother "laughs madly."

Quite a shocker.

PS. Around 2011, I think the Encore cable movie suspense channel ran Psycho for 24 hours on Mother's Day. 12 back-to-back screenings, like TBS does with "A Christmas Story" on Christmas.

To "get the flavor" of the marathon, I recall watching the last half of Psycho, then the entire movie, then the first half... back to back...just to get the feeling.
