I've wanted to see this film ever since my late mother (a straight-laced woman) accidently saw PRIVATE PROPERTY at a Seattle art house theater back in 1960. She was there to see FIVE BOLD WOMEN, to which PRIVATE PROPERTY was the co-feature. Unfortunately, PRIVATE PROPERTY has been missing ever since then.

I hope like hell that the film can be released on home video someday. However, I'm aware that UCLA has restored some films that have never appeared on VHS or DVD.

It is great news to hear that the film is no longer "lost." Maybe TCM could air it someday?

I would be very interested in seeing it. Of course, it's very sad about the leading lady Kate Manx. But this film is such a mystery.

Write letters to TCM requesting that they air the film. If you join their online website, you can request titles to be aired on TCM.

Write to "artsy" DVD labels like Vinegar Syndrome, and request that they release the film on DVD or Blu-ray.
