Who sings "Gimme that old time relgion" at the beginning? I have the feeling she's since become very famous.

Thank you. I see she also has considerable movie and TV exposure ( http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0880081/) including her own TV show, but mainly in supporting roles. I don't think I'd ever seen her. She is very beautiful.
