Darwinism is not faith-based.
Sometimes I think that creationists regard evolution as something we scientists and/or atheists beleive in i.e. "what atheists have dreamt up to explain life without god"
No we don't, we understand and know and have assessed the masses of evidence in favour of an idea. It is no more a belief of mine that species evolve over time than it is a belief that "Mass murder is a bad idea/poking my eye with sharp stick will hurt/I shouldn't teach my kids to cross the road with their eyes closed etc. etc. etc." Some things you know.
Darwin himself got some things wrong but considering the facts he couldn't and didn't know (laws of inheritance, DNA,neutral evolution, molecular sequencing, mitochindria, chromasomes etc) it is awesome to read the original book and see that he got so much of it right.
All it will take is ONE verifiable out of sequence fossil out of the millions found so far(e.g. a 200 million y.o. rabbit)to put the whole theory on its head. All have been found where they were predicted to be, its the kind of evidence that is undeniable.
