I dvred. Watching it now. I was hooked on Allison Hayes after seeing Attack of the 50 Foot Woman the week prior. Twenty minutes in hoping it's going to be worth it.
shareThis movie gave me nightmares as a kid the first scene with the gas stove . I have not seen this in 30 years . It used to play on the scary
movies on Saturdays when I was a kid 1960s ,early 1970s.
I watched it today and it did not scare me at all . The end was lame I
always thought it was at a circus instead of backstage .
Impressions of a little kid I guess .
And The bad guys gave no reason for disfiguring other women in the movie?

I think he was just meeting the women again for his assistants sake. I think the assistant was the one giving them the suggestions to disfigure themselves, but it still made no sense. Instead of concentrating on making money for surgeries, you disfigure other people?
And dumbest of all, why not hypnotize the assistant to accept her face? I mean, she had a mask so lifelike, I couldn't imagine what the issue was. That prophetic would take 2 hours for a pro to put on daily with such great results.
Maybe He disfigured Her in a accident ? Her mind snapped and She got
jealous when He talked to other Women She got Him back by disfiguring them .
Sounds crazy but who knows ?

I was hoping it was going to be better than it was, but deleted it. It wasn't really a strong film. I wish there had been more to it
