In addition to what scarlettsdad said, before the House sinks, (but still after Philip has exited the house), it also shows several shots of:
- The internal infrastructure of the House collapsing and burning down at the same time.
...followed by...
- An external shot of the House with most of the House gone, while fire rages where the House used to be. In this shot, all that is left of the House is a bit of the front wall, and some tower infrastructure in the far distance, and the gate/fence that is dozens of feet in front the House.
As for end credits, yes there are end credits which show images of the actors and text that lists their names and their characters' names, in the middle of misty backgrounds. That is followed by some white texts that credits the filmmakers, which also play in the middle of misty backgrounds. In other words, the end credits are not done in the standard/boring rolling-text-on-a-black-screen style.
OP, it sounds like the problem is you were watching a butchered version of the film. TV stations are notorious for butchering films and TV shows too. Never trust a TV station to be showing you anything in its original & uncut form. Most likely if you are watching anything on TV, then the TV station has butchered it.
