Old downtown Anaheim,
that was cool seeing that, I grew up a couple blocks from there, I was a preteen kid when this was being filmed and remember all the buildings they showed, the old police station, the library, the Pickwick hotel and I think I got a glimpse of the old Broadway school where I attended and the Red Lion Bar where my dad attended and of course the SQR store and Fox theatre , There is no downtown Anaheim anymore, due to a bunch of brainless idiots in city planning the whole downtown was mowed down in the 80's and 90's to make way for a couple of hideous looking office buildings that drown out the sunlight that used to shine on downtown Anaheim, they even tore down the historic buildings like the police station and the SQR store which were on Center street and the Pickwick Hotel which was on Los Angeles street later named Anaheim blvd. hell these were historic placqued buildings when I was growing up. They even got rid of the name Center st. which the street was called in the downtown area only, with Lincoln ave continuing on each end, now it's all Lincoln ave, they covered their blunder, nobody would be the wiser. It's so haunting driving through there now and remembering how it used to be. Unlike Buena Park and Fullerton which kept their old downtowns Anaheim is downtownless due to a bunch of young exuberant A-Holes in city planning. And you won't find one orange grove in Anaheim anymore either, where we used to have numerous orange fights and come home sticky and stinking of orange juice. It was a great place to grow through, back then.
