Film24 in the UK has been transmitting old B&W British films (generally 1950's and 1960's) rarely if ever seen on television but including stars of the day. Most have been "digitally remastered" and all are of good technical quality. There appears to be around one new film each day. As few are available on DVD and are not shown by other broadcasters this seems to be a unique opportunity to see them. Thanks to Film24 for their initiative.

I have it on videotape from when it was aired late at night on BBC 2 somewhere in the late 1990s. I've always loved the dark atmosphere of this movie and its eerie, chilling soundtrack. Good to hear that these movies are being aired again, as BBC and ITV seem to have abandoned them since the dawn of digital TV.
