shot on 68 mm?

was this shot on 68mm film or 35 with a wide lense???

here on Imdb is written 35mm.

There is no such thing as 68mm; you're probably referring to 65mm/70mm. But this film was photographed in CinemaScope (35mm anamorphic) with photographic lenses provided by Panavision, Inc.

The singular version of lenses is "lens", no "e" at the end.

Movies on film are shot with the sound separate. They are combined on the release prints. So, the large-format film of 65mm is just the image, no sound. The sound was recorded on tape. When the release print was made, the combined print was 70mm, which accommodated the picture and up to six tracks of sound.
