Car wreck footage recycled later

The car wreck footage was used in another film that I saw recently, but I can't for the life of me remember what film. Might have been a TV movie, even, but it was definitely the same footage. Anyone know?

Interesting you should mention that, because I had a strange sense of deja vu watching the car crash scene. Unfortunately, I don't remember where else I saw it, so I'm no help at all. Sorry.

This is a really old question, but according to the Trivia section for BUtterfield 8 on imdb: "The clip of the car crash near the end of the film was reused in MGM's Wicked, Wicked (1973)."

Thanks for the reply. I haven't seen "Wicked, Wicked," but that crash still looks familiar. Maybe I came across the film on television or something before I knew what it was.

Ah, cool, that was it - I did that one (W.W.) oddly enough right around the same time I had seen BU8. Tx!
