More of a drama than anything else

I put off watching this movie for years because I assumed it was a silly comedy but I watched it tonight and thought it was a fantastic and highly enjoyable drama with some humor thrown in. Great transcendence of genre here.

Billy Wilder was a genius. Great screen name too.

Thanks. And yeah I'm becoming obsessed with Billy Wilder. I've recently seen Ace in the Hole, Sunset Boulevard, The Apartment, and Double Indemnity, and I have The Lost Weekend on its way in the mail. And I just ordered the book by Camerone Crowe about Billy Wilder. I'm becoming very interested in this guy and his work.

Those are all great movies. I didn't know that Cameron Crowe had a book on him - I should check that out!
