Virginia Webb Shahan passed away
I regret to inform everybody that the matriarch of Alamo Village and the Shahan HV Ranches, Virginia Webb Shahan has passed away June 23.
Virginia had been in the hospital in San Antonio due to a broken femur resulting from a fall she had taken a few weeks ago in the house. She wanted to return home so much in spite of the prescribed long period of rehabilitation and other set-backs that the family finally agreed. EMT brought her home yesterday afternoon. She was quite exhausted, so the family asked us to postpone our visits after work. She died peacefully at ten o'clock last evening.
Her daughter Tulisha said that when they brought her in to her own bedroom yesterday, her words were,"It's about damn time!"
