Joanna Heyes

In "The Hungry Glass" I notice that Joanna Heyes has the same surname as director Douglas Heyes. Was she his wife? Could that be why she was allowed to give a performance so bad that it made William Shatner look restrained?
Even so, still a very creepy tale.

This is from Alan Warren's book THIS IS A THRILLER: AN EPISODE GUIDE, HISTORY AND ANALYSIS OF THE CLASSIC 1960s TELEVISION SERIES:

[Compared to Shatner,] the other actors don't have such showy parts. Joanna Heyes (the wife of Douglas Heyes, previously seen in "The Purple Room") is believable as Marcia, and Elizabeth Allen (later seen in "The Grim Reaper") is likewise effective as Liz Talmadge.
