He's at the back of the queue of those who should leave. Caz, Izzy, Liz, Eileen and Phelan are all tedious characters who should have gone long ago. At least the actor is convincing as a gay man, which is more than you can say for Antony Cotton I spent the first fifty years of my life in Brighton and I never met a screaming queen as bad as him.

Sean is a cancer.

reply

Weird, maybe I haven't been in the company of gay men enough but Sean actually doesn't bother me, unless they try to make him serious which the actor can't really do. He can be quite funny in other situations. I realise I'm in the minority here. It seems silly though to suggest no one is as camp as Sean, some are. Of course it shouldn't be seen as portraying all gay men, I get that. I like Todd, he's a deeper more fully fleshed out character and the actor is excellent (and easy on the eye)

I think that Antony Cotton has good comic timing. I find him ok, and not particularly OTT in his portrayal of Sean.

His personality often gets called into question but as far as I'm concerned, I'm watching him at work on my television, not sizing him up as a best mate, so I don't particularly care if he's disagreeable.

reply

The character is pathetic and I'm pretty sure no one is sizing up anyone and tone down the diva act.
