Selfie
The word "selfie" makes my skin crawl. I wish it was banned.
I did like Tim's face when he took the picture though.

I was a bit dubious about the word 'selfie' when it first started to be used. I suppose it's a good abbreviation for a self-taken picture and I don't mind it now.
shareIt's typical of the British to abbreviate words or phrases so that they become meaningless. So telephone comes just "phone", mobile phone becomes just "mobile" and self-taken picture becomes "selfie". By choosing the adjective and not the noun to describe the item renders it meaningless.
shareTraditional parts of speech get deliberately confused now so I don't take so much notice of nouns, adjectives etc. these days. You must admit that self-taken picture is too long-winded to keep uttering.
shareIn Germany a mobile phone is called a 'Handy', in Chinese it's 'shou ji' which just means 'hand machine'. So how is this a British thing exactly.
Point them with the sticky end.share
