That fat father gave him a right pasting and all he did was whimper. The extent of his fighting ability is pushing his mother down the stairs!

I don't know why he doesn't report the crime. The dad threatened him in front of a witness (the headmaster) so he would be arrested. David's already in the clear about what he did to Lauren.

Yes exactly! And!, there were cameras outside the pub which would show the dad heavy handing David to the skip area. Case closed.

David was out of his weight class against Lauren's dad so I don't think that he had much of a chance in that fight. David made light of his injuries instead of wailing to Gail about them , so I don't actually see him as a wimp.

That guy had a huge height/weight advantage over David, who is not a fighter. He even laughed about it later with Nick. David's strengths are psychological!
