Steve is so selfish

He should stop being such a wuss and get tested. As a sufferer of a genetic disease, I think it is great Corrie are coveting this

You do realise the only reason Steve refused was because it was an excuse on the writers part to drag the story out further and cause more conflict?

They don't give a toss about properly highlighting anything.

reply

I emphatically agree. Once Tracy figures out what's going on though, Steve's life won't be worth living until he has that test.

On a more personal note, I wish you and yours the best of health.

reply

We can of course have every sympathy for anyone who suffers from such things, but it's *beep* boring to watch on TV! I hate the storyline.

reply

I hate this whole storyline. Steve has always been incredibly selfish and now he is beyond insufferable.

reply

I really hate Steve. He's the ultimate designated hero: stringing along a bunch of girls, acting like a moron, doing things that ultimately serve only his best interests and STILL being treated by the writers like he's in the right because they can and because of his supposed poor health (which like Tracy's kidney failure and Nick's brain damage, only pops up when we're supposed to sympathize with these idiots). Hell, he's almost the male version of Tracy.

You laugh at me because I'm different. I laugh at you because you're all the same.

reply

I hate the storyline, too. I wish Steve would take another long vacation.

reply

Even though I have a genetic disease, I admit, I also find this storyline boring. We know it is just a device to get it out that Leanne is carrying Steve's bub.Jim, so he is, is in his 60's, so we know the condition isn't necessarily life limiting. Even so, Steve shoulda been tested
