Where were these so-called morals of his when he took full advantage of the fact that Tracy basically conned Nick (via Carla) out of the bistro. He was supposed to be so disgusted by the things she did to get the place that he split up with her over it and rightly so. However, if he thought it was such a bad thing then why would he hold on to it? He's really quite the hypocrite.
I like Robert but I have no idea why he is being so concerned over Anna and Michelle. Tim made me laugh when he kept telling him to get lost in the hospital.
I do wonder why they keep mentioning his hand too? The wound he had wasn't that serious but has been referenced quite a few times. I wonder if something will later go wrong, sepsis maybe?
Because they (the writers) are obviously setting up an affair or one night stand storyline between Michelle and Robert. There can't be any other reason why he and Michelle are suddenly interacting.

But where the hell is Robert living? At one point in the bistro I remember him saying he was going to get a shower implying that the place had it's own bathroom. Does that mean that he's living there? Perhaps the place has an upstairs flat as well as a cellar. It would be in the way of the railway tracks but that's no problem is it?
