Cousin Virgil goof

I've watched this episode several times and have to admit, it's not one of my favorite episodes of TAGS.

There is a plot hole in it, that is really goofy. At the end of the show, it is revealed that the reason that Cousin Virgil is always screwing up is because someone is watching him and he gets nervous and, as he puts it, "squiggly".

However, in the scenes that show his screwing up, he is by himself when he does in several of them. The first screwup is when Virgil misses the bus. He has walked down to the post office to mail a postcard that he could have just taken to them. Then, when he goes to Andy's house for supper, after the meal, he goes ALONE to move the squad car up for Barney to drive home and he accidently puts it in reverse instead of in forward. He's by himself when it happens.

At the courthouse the next day, he is sweeping the floor and no one is watching him as he breaks the glass out of the bookcase. Then, the big one where he polishes the cell door keys and he polishes them so much they can't grab the tumblers. He is by himself there.

So, the plot hole for this episode is really a big one because it goes against what has happened before!
