Edd Byrnes was a big hot star at Warners mainly due to 77 Sunset Strip and his
"Kooky" character. While he was immense in the fan mail department, Jack Warner favored another big Warner star-Troy Donahue who got the great movie roles in Parrish, Rome Adventure, and other WB features.
I remember watching this movie when I was 7 years old. I was completely in love with Edd Byrnes. From 77 Sunset Strip, I loved the way he combed his hair. At the movies when I saw Yellowstone Kelly, they were giving out 8X10 glossies of Edd. I still have mine.
