Extreme butchering of this movie is part of Emson's...
"50 Sci-Fi Classics", a 5-DVD set in honor of science-fiction B-movies (though it contains 3 TV productions too short to be called movies and 11 features which aren't sci-fi at all). I recently got the set and was shocked to discover that it only has the first 44 minutes, 35 seconds (good audio/video quality at least) of "Teenagers from Outer Space"! Why the hell were the last 41 minutes left off by Emson?!!! Why such shoddy treatment for a film representative of the golden era of sci-fi B cinema and superior to many of the movies that got fully featured in this set? Maybe Emson was too busy transferring yet another Hercules/Herculesesque flick that has no business being in a sci-fi collection.
