Extreme butchering of this movie is part of Emson's...

"50 Sci-Fi Classics", a 5-DVD set in honor of science-fiction B-movies (though it contains 3 TV productions too short to be called movies and 11 features which aren't sci-fi at all). I recently got the set and was shocked to discover that it only has the first 44 minutes, 35 seconds (good audio/video quality at least) of "Teenagers from Outer Space"! Why the hell were the last 41 minutes left off by Emson?!!! Why such shoddy treatment for a film representative of the golden era of sci-fi B cinema and superior to many of the movies that got fully featured in this set? Maybe Emson was too busy transferring yet another Hercules/Herculesesque flick that has no business being in a sci-fi collection.

I have Treeline Classics' 50 Movie Pack: SciFi Classics, and there it works just fine. Buy that instead. Teenagers alone is worth the price, and it has Robot Monster, Wasp Woman and the Mesa of Lost Women as well.

That is indeed a rip-off. I want the one Herlofsen describes on this page. TFOS AND Robot Monster together. FANTASTIC!
