Splendor in the Grass is somewhat similiar in theme but 100 times superior to this silliness.

Natalie Wood and Warren Beatty were terrific in Splendor.

Do you mean "teen angst"? Or Troy Donahue movies?

Try, "The Crowded Sky" (1960), "Parrish" (1961), "Susan Slade" (1961), "Rome Adventure" (1962) with Troy's first wife. As well as, "My Blood Runs Cold" (1965). There are tons more, but these are a good start.

Also, "Until They Sail" with Sandra Dee, Jean Simmons, Joan Fontaine, Piper Laurie, and Paul Newman. Sink your teeth into this one and enjoy!
