For those who have seen it, what are your thoughts on the film?
shareI saw it yesterday. Much prefer ''Sleeping Beauty'', but I liked it more than I thought I would- (I thought I was going to hate it).''Revisionist'' fairy tales bother me as a rule, but this was ok. Jolie was fine.
shareAngelina Jolie was outstanding, but besides her and the visuals, the film was a failure. The twist ending was lame and could be seen coming from a mile away, especially after seeing Frozen. I think I'll just stick with the original.

I was hoping that they would throw a lot of original lines in there from sleeping beauty, they did a little which was nice. Besides Jolie and the beautiful visuals, there wasn't much else that made the movie stand out... Maybe for those who haven't seen the original they'd think differently.

Ugh, I can't say anything positive about it. Maybe Angelina Jolie could have been a good Maleficent in a better movie, but just... ugh. Nothing good about it at all, in my opinion.

I didn't hate it, but I didn't think it was good. It was just ordinary.
