Original soundtrack on CD 2/17/15
At last! The original soundtrack of Rio Bravo has been released on a two-disc CD set from Intrada. SRP is $29.95.
The CDs contain Dimitri Tiomkin's complete music score from the film, plus unused cues, additional songs sung by Dean Martin and Ricky Nelson, alternate pieces and other music not heard in the film. This is a terrific score from Tiomkin and a great complement to his other western soundtracks already on CD, including High Noon, Gunfight at the OK Corral, Last Train From Gun Hill and The Unforgiven.
