Their apartments
The end of the movie implies that they moved into Brad's apartment. But I think Jan had the better apartment of the two. Which apartment do you think they moved into, and which one would you want to live in?

shareJan's is much nicer with a better view

I loved Jan's apartment... so roomy and colorful. Brad's was too drab for me, and that spiral staircase right smack dab in the middle? Not functional at all.

I didn't see any implication that they moved into Brad's apartment. Why would they when she intentionally did a horrible job with those over-the-top, gaudy decorations. Jan's apartment was better, even before the decorating she did. Maybe they could sell Brad's apartment to a pimp or a flamboyant gay man.

"So why don't you make like a tree and get out of here."
No, I didn't see any implications either. I found that scene at the end, where the jukebox played "You Are My Inspiration", so amusing, when Brad goes from angry to amused, & then a fond embrace. And I LOVED Jan's flat, bright & cheery, I'd have hoped they'd have sold Brad's flat & moved into hers - John, great idea for it to be sold to "a pimp or a flamboyant gay man"!

I think they should have moved into Brad's apartment. Complete with the eastern/purple gaudy decorations, After all, only 8 years later, it would have become the most fashionable physcodelic apartment in New York. Jan Morrow was way ahead of her time when it came to decorating. She foresaw the summer of love years before it happened.
Peace dudes.

That's exactly what I was thinking
right now when I just saw it.
So this is how liberty dies-with thunderous applause?
Brad tells her the reason he wanted the redecorating done was because he wanted to marry her and move in together.
shareLike he said,... they charged admission.....
shareBrad's is so functional with the automatic door locks, hi-fi, and hide-a-bed. LOL!
shareJan's apartment was great but needed repainting, what with that horrible Pepto-Bismo-pink wall. That colour should NEVER be used on a wall anywhere!
shareI think they did move into Brad's apartment, judging by the next-to-last scene. I would have liked to live in Jan's apartment more, though, since Brad's was more of a bachelor pad than someplace you'd live with a family.
Jan's was so much nicer, though!
Well, after his was renovated, I would say that hers would be the nicer one to live in.
Or maybe they would just get a new apartment and give up their own apartments. Maybe they would get a small house because they would be starting a family...

Brad's place was great, before she ruined it.
