shareI am old enough to say I saw this when it was released. My 12 yr old sister took me to the theater to see it. It was my first movie as I was all of 7 yrs. old. No ratings back then. Needless to say I was petrified and never made it past the bath scene where I cried and asked to leave. Convinced to stay, the beating put me over the top. RAN outside followed by a very unhappy sister who brought me home. Scarred for life?? No way !! I continued to go to classic movies and still prefer theaters to tv. The Nuns Story is one of my favorites and I never miss it when it comes on. Now that I got to see the whole thing!
