Anyone here read it? It's very good.

I have read it a number of times, as you say it is very good. As much as I enjoy the film I wish they had followed the book more closely.

The Long Walk stops every year, just once.

You're right there. The ending in the novel was much longer

I thought it was really excellent as well. In This House of Brede by Rumer Godden is even better.
