Love the opening sequence

Instead of the usual opening sequence, a panoramic establishing shot, Ichikawa went for a partial close-up and the bracing sound of a slap in the face. Right away it announces the theme: how acts of violence erode human dignity. Brilliant.

yea, that was great..i also love how the opening credits dont come in until a while into the movie..also the credit sequence itself is beautifully shot..
