1.66 aspect ratio
What a cool aspect ratio, I've always found it to be more like a "window" into the world we're watching.
But unfortunately, I'm watching this on my public broadcasting station and they've cropped it to 1.33, which makes zero sense in this day and age. People's faces cropping off and credits and even the main title totally chopped off.
I have the distinct impression that this televised version may even be zoomed in very slightly as well, lots of heads being cut off at the tippy top.
What a shame. :( But if I like it enough, I'll rent it. But all of this makes me feel like I'm back in the 90s, when movies were "letterboxed"... merely a marketing term, and absolutely not true widescreen.
