Question about the military school

Were real students from a military academy used in the film. They stood in rank and marched like they were.

reply

From everything I know about the making of the film, they were real students...

They marched and maneuvered too well for it to be a bunch of untrained extras.

Agreed. They appear to be very well trained in military drill.

My son, who made it twice to Nationals with his high school ROTC drill team as member of both the color guard and armed drill teams, currently attends The Citadel where he is a member of the marching band. We have watched many war movies, and always critique the military movements.

The Citadel has been invited to participate in the upcoming annual military Tattoo in Edinburgh in August. I am making plans to attend.
