shareThat's exactly what I thought until I saw the film. I think the cropping and placement may be a purposeful attempt to create this very misperception. :-)
shareThe thing that perplexed me about the cover was the titles and the way they were designed on the Criterion box. They are like names taped onto a file. I don't know if i fully understood this movie. I do not know the significance of shaping the title as it is on a file. Perhaps the dehumanizing of war, like a clinical file being stored away ? Perhaps someone can shed light.
